Welcome to Triple B Sauce!
Hi! I'm Brett Thompson. The story of Triple B sauce began twenty years ago before there were so many different sauces available in so many stores. After becoming increasingly disappointed with the sauces available, I began to make my own. I started with a basic recipe from the early 60’s and kept working on it until it is what it has become today.
Saving bottles of any kind, I would make a new batch whenever I got low. Then as friends asked if they could have some, my batch quickly went from a small amount for my own use to two gallons at a time. I always asked the person taking the sauce to tell me what it might need to make it better. What I got instead was everyone coming back for more. One friend had a special request, as they couldn’t get by with the small jars I was putting the sauce in, they wanted a half gallon at a time. During the summer months it was especially hard to keep them supplied with the sauce they needed.
Ultimately, it got to the point where I was unable to supply my friends without having Triple B mass produced. Thankfully, given the professionalism and patience of Tim Ashman at Ashman Manufacturing in Virginia Beach, VA, Triple B is now available to everyone.
It mixes well...
Triple B Sauce was created to be an 'all in one' sauce. If you'd like it hotter, add your favorite hot sauce. As it blends very well, Triple B has been used in so many different ways and mixed with so many things that we will be offering a cookbook in the future. Some people have used the sauce only for dipping, one friend has never cooked with it, while others use only Triple B for all of their grilling needs. When it comes to a marinade it can be mixed with just about anything you can think of from wines, apple juice, and beer to only mention a few. I’m sure you too will find new uses for Triple B just as so many others have over the past twenty years.
Your final answer - you no longer need to buy an array of sauces to flavor your pork, chicken, beef, seafood or veggies. Triple B will enhance anything and will ultimately become the only sauce you reach for as you prepare your meals. Bon Appetit!
